π©π»βπ» A day of dynamic programming...OH MY!
Well, THAT was a day!
It started out with me saying that I was not going to continue my Linked In Learning subscription, because after going through 4-5 courses and getting certificates and skills on my profile, I found that I was unimpressed with the courses I perused and considered. But maybe it was burnout?
That lasted from about 11 PM last night to this morning. Because I just cannot stop scavenging for new things to learn. So I decided to push myself to give this particular class another try. It is Fundamentals of Dynamic Programming with Avik Das. And I am glad I tried again. I spent a good 8 hours on the hour and a half course. But honestly, I could have spent weeks on it. There was SO MUCH there. I really did learn a lot my listening to him explain the algorithms and puzzling over the code. I have to admit though. I think my favorite project in the course has to be the Content-Aware Image Resizing. That was INTENSE! By the last 10 min, my brain was SHOT! And I think that is a good sign.
So tomorrow, I will be taking a course on web scraping! And then it is back to Machine Learning Zero to GBMs at Jovian! Because I cannot stay away from data science for long. It is just too much fun, and I love it!
By the way, if you are interested in good classes through Linked In Learning, Advanced Pandas with Brett Vanderblock was a really great little course. And Advanced Python with Joe Marini is excellent!
Happy coding, friends!
